The Caye Hotel is located In Caye Caulker Island, Belize, Central America.

Caye Caulker is approximately 23 miles off the coast of Belize City. Once you arrive in Belize, the most easy way to reach Caye Caulker is via a 15 minute flight with Tropic Air or Maya Island Air which are two of Belize’s main airlines. Another option would be to take a ferry from Belize City to Caye Caulker via San Pedro Belize Express which would take approximately 45 minutes.

Check-in begins at 2:30 pm and check-out is at 10:30 am. 

It is best to bring cash for dining and shopping while in Caye Caulker, and preferably in Belize or US dollars. The typical exchange rate is 2 Belize dollars for every US dollar. Make sure you ask shop keepers and restaurants if their prices are in US or Belize dollars to avoid any unfortunate miscommunications. Expect your change to be in Belize dollars regardless of what currency you purchased with. 

There’s no need to worry. The Caye Hotel is only a short distance away from a number of stores and small shops that have everything you may need. We do provide toiletries as well. 

All of our rooms feature a smoke alarm, personal safe, closet, toiletries, air conditioning, shower, telephone, free in-room wifi connection and a television to relax and enjoy your stay here at the Caye Hotel.

In a tropical climate, sunscreen is definitely recommended. Insects are way of life so bringing insect repellent and after-bite remedies are also recommended.

While staying at The Caye Hotel, you can easily make your way round the island by bike or golf cart that can be rented all around the island. 

Belize International Airport (BZE) has non-stop service from the U.S. on Continental Airlines, Delta, American, U.S. Air, Southwest Airlines, and Copa Airlines. From Central / South America there is non-stop service on TACA Airlines.

The Belize Departure Tax is approximately $40. US. This fee is normally included in your international airfare. If you have any specific questions, please contact your carrier.

For U.S. and Canadian visitors, a valid passport is required for entry into Belize. For visitors from other countries, a Visa may be required. For details please visit travelbelize.org

Yes, we have complimentary Wi-Fi available for guests of the hotel. Also,

there is cellular service available Caye Caulker however, you may want to check with your cellular service carrier to ensure that service is provided in this specific area of Belize.

You will also want to check with your carrier prior to departure about the charges to use your cellular service in Belize, as roaming fees may vary depending on your local cellular carrier. You can also purchase a local Sim card from Belize Telephone companies if your cellular phone is not locked to your service provider.
